Daily writing Prompts #65

I used to live in a town that had two claims to fame, the first one had to do with it's name and the other one had to do with wooden ducks, properly known as decoys. Go look up duck decoy capital, if you want to know. Maybe I was a jaded teenager, but I think there is more to it than that. So with that, Today's prompt:

I have had a thought on wooden duck decoys. I've been away for a while now and in retrospect I think I can safely say. Every duck decoy that you buy, has a smile on it's face. If you hold it close to your ear you will hear the last word of every duck fooled by a decoy... can't hear it? Remember Admiral Ackbar's famous line "It's a trap!"
