Daily writing Prompts #6

It had taken thousands of years, but finally the Greek gods were dying. They were fading away, their power spent, the believers long since dead. Even so, killing one of them would never go over well. Mathew knew as he looked down on the broken a twisted body of this one, that his life was not going to get any easier.
